Roshanne Silva

Another bright prospect is non other than this highly talented Right Hand Batsman Roshanne Silva. He started his school cricket career in the Under 15 age group and played for the College First XI for 4 years, he has got a fifty in every big match he played and capped it up with a brilliant century in the Joe-Pete 50 over in 2007 where he beat St Peter's, his Partner and the rain to guide St Joseph's to a win, he was 81 not out at the time and finished the game in one over and got his hundred as the rains came down, such was his talent in this guy, he can be a destroyer as well as a grafter.

After leaving school like the others Roshanne too, joined Colombo Colts Cricket Club and has already captained the Under 23 side, he has scored over 850 runs in the just concluded Premier Tournament which earned him a call to represent the Sri Lanka "A" teams tour of England.

A right-hand middle-order batsman, Roshen Silva made his first-class debut for Colombo Colts Cricket Club. Prior to that, he was a part of Sri Lanka Under-19s He was selected to the U-19 squad for the World Cup in Malaysia in early 2008. An admirer of Aravinda de Silva, he wants to represent his country at the national level as soon as possible.
